my term so far

This term has been the most fun and the greatest term ever. Mrs Langley and Mr Valentine are the greatest teachers ever. On the first two days of school  Ryan, Blake, Adam, Brayden, and I built a shelter for an animal. We chose to build a shelter for a wolf. It was a little bit small for a wolf but  I thought we did a great job. On Friday we started doing activities to research our inquiry questions.  My question was “How do humans affect rhinos?”. I’ve been researching for two days now and I found out a lot of useful information about black and white rhinos.
We also did an activity where you have any amount of dice and you make up a game. My game was that you needed two six sided dice and a ten sided dice. Then you roll all of the dice. You times the six sided dice by the ten sided dice and then you times that number by the six sided dice. My partner and I trialled this game out and it worked. It was actually quite challenging!! but fun at the same time.
We also did a habits of mind activity, which I only got to on Monday. We were given 14 pictures of the habits of mind, 14 descriptions and 14 titles. We had to match up the pictures with a description and a title. When we were marking it, our team, Brendan, Cam, Scott and I were the team with the most correct answers.
We also found out about an app on the computer called Tinkercad.  We made a 3-D design.
Then we made up our matrix designs for our unit this term called Environmental Investigators.
